Description

Today’s photograph is of Lake Dobson and behind that, the slopes of Mt Mawson, both of which are located in Mt Field National Park. The Lake is always so clear and shallow so you can see the bottom but if it looks a little strange, there is a thin layer of ice on top.

The Summit of Mt Mawson is not in view. It stands at 1318m asl while Lake Dobson is at around the 1025 asl.
